As we were passing through town, we stopped in Main Street Country Cafe for a quick lunch. We had a party of 7 and we were immediately seated a huge wooden table. We quickly had our drinks and in short order we had our food. Everything was delicious, especially those green beans with bacon and onion. The mashed taters were a hit as well. Honestly, everything was like eating at Grandma's house on Sunday after church. Our server was so sweet and took great care of our table. We will definitely be eating there again on our way to Echo Bluffs.

Michelle catered a dinner for us today that we picked up to go. It was amazing! We ordered for 20 people, ended up feeding 12 people and had plenty of leftovers! We had roast beef in gravy, homemade mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. We all decided we need the recipe for the gravy, because it was the best roast beef gravy we ever tasted!

Boyfriend and I visited for the first time over the weekend for breakfast. While it did take us a few minutes to receive menus and get our drinks ordered; we were very impressed! The prices are great for the quality and the amount of food we received! If you're looking for a sweet little country cafe with a great atmosphere, look no further than Main Street Cafe here in Salem They also have a breakfast buffet.
